Gisteren had ik een gesprek met de Europese commissaris van transport, Antonio Tajani. Daarin liet hij me weten dat de Europese Commissie haar voorstel over de invoering van 'blootscanners' in Europese luchthavens intrekt. Dit na luid protest van het Europees Parlement die deze scanners een inbreuk op de privacy én een bedreiging voor de gezondheid vond. Meer info in mijn persbericht.
